April / May 2007: Initi@tive 2007 in China (Chengdu): Schneider Electric plays host to 3,000 customers and presents its innovations in the fields of energy efficiency and automation

To celebrate 20 years of presence in China, Schneider Electric is installing its Initi@tive fair in Chengdu from April 10 to 12, 2007. Some 3,000 customers, commercial partners, and personalities from the Chinese government and media, representing all industrial trades and sectors, are expected for this third edition in China.
At the same, on April 12, the group will inaugurate its new Research & development test centre based in Jinshan (Shanghai). Covering 2,500m², this is the biggest test laboratory ever designed by Schneider Electric in Asia.
Another important event to highlight: in partnership with Beijing Master, Schneider Electric has been awarded the technical management contract for Terminal 3 of Beijing international airport.
